Book review - To kill a mocking bird
All the while reading the book i was thinking what makes it famous ? Few things i can jot down easily- The book constructs the characters of Alabama the location in which story is set- quite meticulously. Author aims at creating a separate world of Alabama and peculiarities of the residents here. This is to help reader view everything wholesomely. Harper uses the voice of the child to describe n help reader discover several biases which as adults are quite normal to us but to a child they seem illogical and irrelevant. Plot revolves around indictment of a black person. How courthouse and the residents' perceptions twist the judgement out of control. In the backdrop the protagonist - Atticus Finch- who is the defense lawyer for the black man stands for the morally right things throughout the book. The simplicity with which he does so is marvelous. A true gentleman and logical parent that he is- makes him a very interesting personality who stands for all that is
